PGA Golf Betting Odds: 2011 PGA Championship Tournament Preview

Rory McIlroy has taken over Tiger Woods' old spot atop the Bodog Sportsbook golf odds list to win the 2011 PGA Championship, but the former World's No. 1 is lurking near the top of the chart and looking to pounce this week.

McIlroy is the 10/1 favorite heading into the tournament to pick up the major title at the Atlanta Athletic Club, with Woods sitting back at 20/1 odds. Sitting between them are Lee Westwood and Luke Donald at 14/1 odds, while Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott join Woods at 20/1 odds.

Dustin Johnson (25/1), Jason Day (25/1), Rickie Fowler (25/1), Steve Stricker (25/1), Martin Kaymer (28/1), and Nick Watney (28/1) are the other top contenders to grab the tournament title on Sunday. Kaymer is the defending champion at the event.

McIlroy is also the favorite to be the tournament leader after the first round, as he sits at 16/1 on those golf odds. Westwood and Donald are at 18/1 on the list, with Woods and Mickelson at 20/1.

And if you're looking to bet on golfers to pick up top-five finishes at the PGA Championship this week, McIlroy is at 15/8 odds on that list, followed by Westwood, Donald, and Mickelson all at 5/2 odds. Woods is getting 11/4 odds at the Bodog Sportsbook on that chart, with Scott, Johnson, and Kaymer all at 4/1 odds.

Farther down the golf props list, McIlroy is the 3/1 favorite to be the top European player at the Atlanta Athletic Club this week, followed by Westwood and Donald at 9/2, and Kaymer at 10/1.

Woods, meanwhile, is the 9/1 favorite to be the top American player, with Mickelson at 10/1, and Johnson, Fowler, and Stricker all at 12/1. T
