Big. Great word. Bigger is even better. But biggest? Thats down right awesome, and what makes America great.

Saturday night we get to see two of the biggest S.O.B.’s on the planet knock the crap out of each other in a steel cage for 25 minutes – if it lasts that long.

Former Div 1 collegiate wrestler turned WWE superstar turned NFL wannabe turned MMA fighter Brock Lesnar will defend his UFC Heavyweight belt against another former collegiate wrestler, (albeit not D-1) turned NFL prospect turned city engineer turned MMA fighter in Shane Carwin.

Two different paths, two VERY freaking big guys. Both are listed at 265 lbs, but that’s their fight weight.

Lesnar states publicly that he needs to shed a few lb’s to make the 265 pound weight limit of the UFC Heavyweight division, and Shane Carwin actually walks around closer to 280.

Keep in mind that thre is really not an ounce of fat to see on either of these guys.

Carwin comes into this fight with a 12 – 0 record, 7 Knockouts and not one of his fights has left the first round. The longest he’s spent in a fight is 3 minutes and 48 seconds.

Lesnar is only on his 5th MMA fight, but in his previous two he’s knocked out the heavyweight title holders – one of which was an interim belt.

This fight was originally supposed to happen in November of 2009 at UFC 106, but Lesnar needed to take over a year off from fighting due to an intestinal disorder that put him close to death.

Currently, Lesnar is a slight mma betting favorite in this fight at -115 by SportsBetting.com, putting Carwin as a small +110 underdog according the the latest UFC 116 Odds.

The fight goes down this Saturday night on Pay Per View live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
